  • Property management jobs

For those candidates that prefer customer contact in a retail capacity but not the long hours. As a self-storage property manager you will work on-site and will manage sales. You are responsible for essentially managing your ship – your self-storage site. This entails customer management, operations and ensuring that the facilities are clean and runs well. Candidates that are interested in property management jobs at Public Storage do not necessary need any “property management” experience. Public Storage has in the past employed Property Managers that come directly from a retail background. Public Storage invests heavily in their training programs, so this allows individuals from all backgrounds and experiences to be eligible to apply for the Property Management position. Usually, training lasts for fifteen days and it is always paid. Once you have finished training for the position you will be assigned a facility to look after.


  • Call center jobs

These jobs are great for those candidates with a sales background. The environment is extremely fast-paced however it is highly rewarding. As a Call Center representative you will work at one of Public Storage’s two call centers. You will be responsible for answering incoming calls from customers. You will be trained to answer all aspects of the call. The call centers are opened 363 days out of the year and they have been known to field two million calls annually. There are both part time and full time positions. There is a monthly $500 bonus that is awarded to employees that perform well with their selling skills.
