Remembering Aaron Swartz: Education and internet freedom

We are told by mainstream media that Aaron Swartz, one of the worlds greatest campaigners for internet freedom of speech is no longer with us due to “suicide” – however NewsTrail and other channels are exploring different reasons as to what may have happened. Whilst there is so much speculation, let’s take a moment to reflect on what it is that Aaron was trying to achieve in regards to a more open and free society where big brands and corporate media does not restrict citizens for the purpose of control and exploitation.
